Course Summary
Our Advanced Botulinum Toxin training is a comprehensive 1 day course aimed at those practitioners who have completed their Foundation course treating expression lines but wish to expand their knowledge and skills and add new, exciting Botulinum Toxin treatments to their portfolio.
We only teach a maximum of 2 delegates at any one time, this is to ensure that you gain confidence and competence to be able to leave the training and start treating your own patients immediately.

What we cover
Advanced Botulinum Toxin Training covers injections of the following areas:
- Masseter Reduction/Face slimming injections
- Bunny Lines
- Under Eyes
- Gummy Smile
- Hiperhydrosis
- Chin Relaxing
- DAO – Depressor Anguli Oris
- Nefertiti Neck Lift
The training consists of 1 day practical session and a theory part carried out prior to the hands on training, led by CMA Academy Clinical Director – Susan Langridge.
The course will cover the following areas:
- facial anatomy
- taking reproducible photographs
- preparing/diluting/ mixing the toxin
- effective communication
- consent and medical history
- treatment techniques
- post treatment advice and aftercare
- avoiding compilations and handling them
- documentation
- marketing and business development.
What to expect
On the hands on training day, once we recap the theory, we will move on to an extensive hands on practice with live models. Each delegate will have their own model to treat, the model will be yours only, no sharing.
You will carry out full consultation, take full medical history, take photos and plan their treatment. You will be also giving them advise about complications and aftercare.
Delegates are required to write up their own notes, this will ensure you will be ready to treat in your own clinic upon completion of the course.

After securing your training slot we will send you our comprehensive “Reading Course Material Notes” which will prepare you to the course beforehand.
All delegates leave with a Certificate of Attendance.
Requirements
We advise our delegates to bring suitable models for the course, so you can monitor/review them after the treatment. Nevertheless, if you are unable to source your training models, we will be happy to provide you with ones from our model database.
